The concerned persons in this forum,
It is supposed to be a descriptive essay for classes VII and VIII while it is a narrative essay for classes VI and below.
I will be grateful if anyone could make clear about it.
    Thank you

    The CA carries 30%. Writing portfolio = 10%, Reading portfolio=10% and Listening & Speaking=10%.
The written exams is to be conducted out of 100 and converted to 35% for the the mid term and year-end examinations.
NB. This information has been conveyed to the CDEOs to be disseminated to the schools.

    Sir
We are bit confused on how to go about CA and Exam mark.
currently our practice for CA is L&s = 15, R=7.5, W=7.5 making total of 30mark.
It was divided between Eng -I and Eng – II (15 for Eng I and 15 for Eng II)
So we would be grateful if sir could make us clear about it la.
    Thank you

CA carries 30%, Writing Portfolio=10%, Reading Portfolio=10% and Listening & Speaking 10%. The written exams (both mid-term and year-end) should be conducted out of 100 and then converted to 35% for both. This adds up to 70% for the written exams. Add 30% CA to total up the marks to 100%.

NB. This information has been conveyed to all the CDEOs and CTEOs for further dissemination to the schools.
